Miguel A. Oliver, Chief Executive Officer. Miguel is responsible for ensuring that the company has the resources, both financial and human, to provide superior performance on every one of our service partnerships. As our clients well know, he spends a significant portion of his time on the “front lines” to ensure that the company’s commitment to excellence is maintained. He joined Empire in 1998 after a distinguished 28 year career with Kaiser Permanente as a Senior Director of Logistics and Support Services. Under his strategic direction the company has consistently increased its market share while establishing a solid reputation for corporate citizenship.

Bertha Aguirre, President and Chief Operating Officer. Bertha has had principal responsibility for the service quality and safety performance that has allowed Empire to consistently deliver on its commitments to clients. She has been responsible for development of our service plans for each client as well as for responding to any problem which could affect daily service delivery. She started with the company as an accounting coordinator in 1996 and has been instrumental in the profitable growth of the company. She has had full responsibility for field operations since 2003 and is well established as the “go to” person for each of our clients.

Monica Escorza, Chief Financial Officer. Monica holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and has worked extensively in management consulting. At Empire she is responsible for accounting, corporate strategy, and internal consulting. She has been at the center of Empire’s successful efforts to build timely, accurate reporting systems to support our operations staff and senior executive team. She also fills a critical role in facilitating the decision process for our senior management team on major initiatives and investments.
